Personal Information Collection Statement

Purpose of Collection

The personal data provided by complainant in connection with the complaint will be used by the Electoral Affairs Commission (“EAC”)/the Returning Officer in processing the complaint. The provision of personal data on this occasion is voluntary.

Classes of Transferees

Where necessary, the personal data submitted by the complainant may be provided to law enforcement agencies/departments/organisations for the purposes of processing the complaint.

Access to Personal Data

The complainant has the right to request access to, and to request the correction of, the personal data he/she supplied in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). Such requests should be made in writing to the Secretary of the EAC at 8th Floor, Treasury Building, 3 Tonkin Street West, Cheung Sha Wan, Kowloon.
