  Pursuant to sections 12(6)(b) and 13(3A)(b) of the Electoral Affairs Commission (Electoral Procedure) (Election Committee) Regulation (Cap. 541I), in deciding whether a nominee / candidate is validly nominated for a subsector, the Candidate Eligibility Review Committee (CERC) may require the nominee / candidate to furnish any other information that the Committee considers appropriate to be satisfied that the nominee / candidate is eligible to be nominated; or otherwise as to the validity of the nomination. The CERC now requests each nominee / candidate to complete the Nominee / Candidate Eligibility Review Supplementary Information Form (SIF). The SIF can be downloaded from the election website, and nominees / candidates are advised to complete the SIF electronically and submit the completed SIF by email to cerc_secretariat@cerc.gov.hk. Nominees / candidates should submit their SIFs as soon as possible and no later than 5pm on October 20 to facilitate prompt processing.
