Exit Poll

Persons or organisations intending to conduct exit polls should refer to the “Guidelines on Election-related Activities in respect of the Chief Executive Elections” and the relevant supplementary information (if any) issued by the Electoral Affairs Commission and also read carefully the following application guidelines before submitting their applications to the Registration and Electoral Office (“REO”).

Applying persons or organisations must complete and sign the prescribed Application Form for Conduct of Exit Poll and make a statutory declaration by virtue of the Oaths and Declaration Ordinance (Cap. 11) as required in Part I of the application form. REO will accept applications for conducting exit poll in the 2022 Chief Executive Elections starting from 22 April 2022.

The original of the completed application form with statutory declaration made should be submitted in person or by post to the REO not later than 10 days before the polling day (i.e. on or before 6:00 p.m. on 28 April 2022). All late applications will not be processed.

Remark: An elector has the right to keep his/her vote secret. Participation in exit poll is entirely voluntary.

There is no organisation or person applied for the conduct of exit poll in the 2022 Chief Executive Election.
