In case the number of persons nominated by a designated body exceeds the assigned number of the body, and the body has not indicated which of the nominees are to be given preference or rank the excess nominees (if more than one) in order of priority, the Returning Officer will determine, by drawing lots, the order of priority in which the nominees of that body are to make up the assigned number. Validly nominated nominees who make up the assigned number for the designated body in their order of priority become members representing the relevant subsector on the Election Committee.
