Persons or organisations intending to conduct exit poll should refer to the Guidelines in respect of the 2012 Legislative Council Election issued by the Electoral Affairs Commission and also read the following Application Guidelines for Conduct of Exit Poll carefully before submitting their applications to the Registration and Electoral Office (REO).

Applicants/applying organisations should fill in the following Application Form for Conduct of Exit Poll and Undertaking for Conduct of Exit Poll and return the completed application form together with the duly signed undertaking to the REO. The deadline for submitting the application is 10 days before the polling day (i.e. on or before 5:30 pm on 30 August).

To facilitate the REO to process the applications in a timely manner, the applicants/applying organisations are advised to submit their applications as early as practicable. Late applications will not be considered.
