Nominations for the 2005 Chief Executive Election
are open from June 3 to 16. Any Hong Kong SAR permanent resident
who is a Chinese citizen not less than 40 years of age, with
no right of abode in any foreign country, and has ordinarily
resided in Hong Kong for a continuous period of not less than
20 years is eligible to be nominated as a candidate.
Nomination forms are now available at the Registration and
