Persons or organisations intending to conduct exit polls should refer to the“Guidelines on Election-related Activities in respect of the Election Committee Subsector Elections” and the relevant supplementary information (if any) issued by the Electoral Affairs Commission, and also read carefully the following application guidelines before submitting their applications to the Registration and Electoral Office (REO).

Application Guidelines for Conduct of Exit Poll in the 2016 Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Elections

Applying persons or organisations must complete and sign the prescribed application form and make a statutory declaration by virtue of the Oaths and Declaration Ordinance (Cap. 11) as required in Part I of the form. REO will accept applications for conducting exit poll in the 2016 Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Elections starting from 11 November 2016.

The original of the completed application form with statutory declaration made should be submitted in person or by post to the REO not later than 10 days before the polling day (i.e. on or before 6:00 p.m. on 1 December 2016). All late applications will not be processed.
